Executive Director

Kari Dunn Saratovsky has a career spanning government and philanthropy, where she has built strategic alliances, directed national programs, and advanced social change. As President and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, she elevated the Federation’s reputation both locally and nationally and pioneered a collaborative network strategy to address the community’s evolving needs. Previously, Kari served as a Principal at Third Plateau Social Impact Strategies, where she established the firm’s next-gen organization-building approach and expanded its Jewish engagement portfolio. At the Case Foundation, she led cross-sector partnerships as Vice President of Social Innovation, promoting civic engagement and technology-driven philanthropy, and she also served as Executive Director of the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to expand volunteerism after 9/11. A Schusterman Fellow and award-winning leader, Kari has served in board roles at Mobilize.org and Repair the World and as an advisor to Fuse Corps and the Millennial Action Project. She lives in the Washington, D.C. Metro area with her husband and three children.

Aaron Dorfman is the Founder and Executive Director of A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy, a soon-to-be-launched organization focused on deepening civic engagement in the Jewish community. Prieviously, Aaron served as President of the Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah, where he developed initiatives connecting Jewish wisdom to contemporary life, and as Vice President for Programs at American Jewish World Service, overseeing grants and advocacy for social justice. With a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Aaron combines policy expertise with a passion for social change. Aaron lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife Talia, their three daughters, and a bearded dragon, and actively contributes to local community initiatives.

Steven Olikara is a nationally recognized entrepreneur, advocate for bipartisan collaboration, and political commentator. He currently serves as President of Bridge Entertainment Labs (BEL), an organization dedicated to harnessing the power of media to bridge America’s political divides and amplify diverse stories. Previously, he founded and led Future Caucus (formerly Millennial Action Project), the largest bipartisan organization of young elected officials in the U.S., and his insights have been featured on CNN, NPR, NBC News, The Washington Post, and more. Recently, Steven made history as Wisconsin’s first South Asian candidate for U.S. Senate, receiving national attention for his fresh, inclusive approach to politics. A lifelong musician, Steven is also the co-author of JFK: The Last Speech, exploring the role of artists in democracy, and is featured in the documentary The Reunited States on Amazon Prime and PBS. His achievements include being named a Forbes 30 Under 30, a Truman Scholar, and a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.
